With a hopeful eye to the future, Mended Hearts supports today's medical students in their journey to become tomorrow's doctors and nurses. Every year, the Endowment Fund grants several Mary Amato Education Awards to medical students nationwide.

Rules

  1. Applicants and winners must be family members in good standing with Mended Hearts for at least one year prior to applying for this Award. Family members are son, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchildren, stepchildren.
  2. Applicants do not need a high school diploma but must be at least 17 years of age to participate.
  3. Selection of winners will be by drawing. An independent committee will draw the names as winners and the names as alternates. Alternates will qualify in the order in which they are drawn.
  4. This Award will be paid to the winner upon submission of proof of acceptance and registration or proof of attendance at an accredited college, university, technical, or trade school.
  5. Applicants not selected as winners of this award this year may apply again.
  6. Applications MUST be postmarked no later than MAY 31st, to qualify.

The Mended Hearts Endowment Fund reserves the right to alter, suspend, or discontinue this award program at its discretion.
